PATCH FOR SPAIN'S AIR INTELLIGENCE CENTER

Composition

Comprised of a series of espionage aircraft and an analysis center, it is divided into an operational group and a technical group. Their functions include: Communications Intelligence (COMINT), Communications Interference (COMJAM), Electronic Countermeasures (ECM), Counter Electronic Countermeasures (ECCM), Electronic Intelligence (ELINT), and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT).

Operational Group

The operational group consists of several C-212 Aviocar equipped with sensors. It later added two Falcon-20, geared for signal intelligence. In 1997, it received its most advanced model, a Boeing 707, equipped with sensors for electronic warfare. It can operate up to 30,000 feet in altitude, with a range of 200 miles. It is capable of locating and identifying weapons systems and intercepting enemy emissions.
