The Mandatory Military Service Medal (SMO) with its ribbon represents the three Armies, green for Earth, light blue for Air and navy blue for Navy, with the Spanish flag in the center. The golden medal also features a composition with elements of the emblems of the three Armies and  the golden legend "DEBER CUMPLIDO" (duty accomplished).
