The clasp is of metal, measuring 12 mm in width by 34 mm in length, and features a 30 mm wide stripe divided into three main bands. The central band is sapphire blue with a width of 0.5 mm. On each side, it is flanked by two sapphire blue stripes measuring 0.8 mm, with the outermost ends displaying the Spanish flag.
